• Fogglifter Café — one of my favorites for coffee and breakfast before heading out

• The Pancake House — classic McCall breakfast spot

• My Father’s Place — casual, great burgers

• Stax Sandwich Shop — perfect quick lunch

• Rupert’s — consistently one of the best meals in McCall

• Steamers Steakhouse — great for special dinners

Skiing & Snowboarding (Winter)

Obviously — skiing straight from the cabin.

• Brundage has incredible powder

• Less crowded than bigger resorts

• Beautiful tree runs

• Bear Basin trails (mountain biking & hiking)

• Brundage scenic chairlift rides

• Louie Lake Trail — peaceful and scenic

• Boulder Lake Trail — great views

• Bear Basin loop — beginner-friendly

If I wanted a slower day:

• Gold Fork Hot Springs

• Coffee + lake walk mornings
