If I Were Staying at the Modern One Bed Downtown Star Studio

If I were staying at our luxurious modern two bed downtown Star studio, I’d fully enjoy the slower pace of Star while still exploring nearby areas.

Where I’d Eat in Star (and Nearby)

Breakfast & Coffee

If I were staying here, I’d start mornings slow.

Star Country Café — classic breakfast and one of the most local-feeling spots in town

The Perks of Life (Eagle) — great coffee stop just a short drive away

Lunch Spots

Sulit Thai Kitchen — always one of my top recommendations

White Dog Brewing (Boise/Eagle area) — casual and great food

Dinner Options

For evenings, I’d mix Star with nearby Eagle and Boise:

Bardenay (Eagle) — great patio atmosphere

Coyne’s (Eagle) — elevated and always worth it

Barbacoa (Boise) — fun night out option

Outdoor Activities I’d Plan Around

Easy Local Outdoors

One of the best parts of staying at The Hub is how easy it is to enjoy the outdoors.

I’d plan for:

• Morning walks through the neighborhood

• Boise River outings nearby

• Bike rides through Star and Eagle

Short Adventure Drives

If I had a few extra hours:

Eagle Island State Park — beach days, paddleboarding, floating

Boise River Greenbelt — great biking and walking

Bogus Basin (summer & fall hiking)

Indoor Recreation Nearby

If I wanted a slower day:

Village at Meridian — shopping + restaurants

Topgolf Boise — always fun for groups

• Downtown Boise shopping + coffee stops

Events I’d Plan Around (Summer & Fall)

If timing worked, I’d absolutely try to catch a few local events.

Star & Nearby Community Events

Star Hometown Celebration (summer) — parade, vendors, fireworks

• Local farmers markets throughout summer

Treasure Valley Favorites

Western Idaho Fair (Boise) — one of the biggest summer events

Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic (fall)

Hyde Park Street Fair

Rodeos I’d Definitely Try to Catch

If I were staying during summer or early fall, I’d absolutely plan around a rodeo — they’re such a fun Idaho experience.

Nearby Rodeos:

Snake River Stampede (Nampa) — one of the biggest in the Northwest

Caldwell Night Rodeo — iconic and very worth it

• Local county fair rodeos throughout the valley

These are always great for families, couples, and groups.

Why I Love Staying Here

The biggest thing I love about this stay is the flexibility.

You can:

✔️ relax and stay local

✔️ explore Boise easily

✔️ plan adventure days

✔️ enjoy slower evenings back home

The layout, location, and overall feel make it such an easy and comfortable stay.

Final Thoughts

If I were staying at the studio, I’d focus on enjoying the pace of the area, mixing relaxed mornings, great food, outdoor time, and a few fun local events along the way.

It’s one of those stays that makes exploring feel effortless.
